| The names of all my critters have special meanings for me. The name "MyHeart" is in honor of two major forces in my life, my horse, Charlie aka "Follow Your Heart", who taught me so much and my first Ausise, Rosie. Rosie is truly my heart dog, the connection we have will always be there. Charlie's show name, Follow Your Heart, came from a Trisha Yearwood song which says, in part: "and when you come to the crossroads and you're deciding in the dark, you've got to listen to the whisper of your heart." To this day I tend to lead with my heart, but if I make a decision and I feel at peace I know it's the right one. Rosie's show name, Everlasting's Raindrops on Roses, came from that song that everyone knows so well from The Sound of Music. But, as she is truly "a few of my favorite things" it seemed more than appropiate. Flare's show name, Mi-T Rockets' Red Glare, of course came from that line in yet another song "The Star -Spangled Banner". I wanted a good, fast, red dog name and with my husband serving overseas when Flare came here I also wanted a patriotic theme. Now for my little Beagle mix. Well, it's easy to see where the name Snoopy came from, I did get him around Easter & everyone knows that Snoopy is the Easter Beagle. He showed in agility under the name Worl War I Flying Ace, again another alias of the cartoon Snoopy. The kitties that reside here at MyHeart are characters. My male, Velcro, was born here when his mom adopted me & as a youngster he couldn't retract his claws very well, he literally stuck to everything. I call it my truly inspired kitty cat name. Camille, my Himalayian female, is truly the princess of the house, she rules the place with an iron paw. |
